Violin 小提琴 Vitula

Playing the violin has always been my childhood dream, or more like one of my secret ambitions. Well, it's no more a dream now that I have started learning. =)

Baroque music is empowering and the sound of violin is just as wonderful.

And later, as soon as I heard The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, I fell in love with the strings... "Winter" is peppered with silvery staccato notes from the high strings, calling to mind icy rain, whereas "Summer" evokes a thunderstorm in its final movement, which is why the movement is often dubbed "Storm."

To me, it is the most emotional musical instrument.
Sometimes it sounds like a soft speaking lady, sometimes a crying child, sometimes a heroic warrior, sometimes a blossoming flower, sometimes a lonely willow tree....

Time flies, it's been 6 months since my first violin lesson.
With the festive holidays in between, I have taken fewer lessons than I should have.
But the progress that I've made so far is something that I'm proud of. =)
Although I've been struggling with the basics, I've recently learnt to RELAX and ENJOY movements on the strings. Thanks to Ms.Yap, my truly amazing teacher.

收心养性

是时候“收心养性”了。

人生中现阶段最大的专业执照考试要到了！同学们看见“神龙教教主”般的我-来无影，去无踪，都好奇万分，有的甚至为我提心吊胆。这疯子是在找死吗？怎么可以若无其事，还到处游荡呢？

是的，是时候“收心养性”了朋友。

香港游过了，在大屿山吃过斋，海洋公园的海狮也结识了，英国到过了，伦敦的繁华体验过了，巴黎的风情感受过了，迪士尼乐园，曼联，利物浦也畅游过了，2010年的春季，也算是非同凡响咯。

寒窗数年，考取了法律系学士学位，还得过专业鉴定考试这虎口啊！
所以心里真的有些不平衡。怎么没完没了？ 或许是自己的心野，过动儿症状，要我“闭关修炼”，还蛮难的！

就开开心心地考吧！过了这关，就“自由”了！

巴黎的塞纳河，我会赶上那玻璃船，力争上游，我们在钟楼见！=)

42km. A goal. A promise.

I'm glad that the pain in my left foot is gone. =)

And I can finally run properly during my usual training!
Thanks to 'coach' who disciplined me during my 'injury time'.

So, I shall proudly announce 1 of my 2010 resolutions:

TO RUN MY FIRST EVER 42KM BY END OF THIS YEAR.

Tentatively, the most probable timing would be during the Penang Bridge International Marathon 2010 - 21st November 2010.

The marathon is a long-distance foot race with an official distance of 42.195 kilometres (26 miles and 385 yards), that is usually run as a road race.

Been 'googling' Full Marathon world records...and well, I can only read those records in awe. =p

Hahaha...But I've taken my 1st baby step by beginning to DREAM about it!
So I guess I'm not so far from achieving. (in my dreams) =D

After 3 eventful months. A long wait has ended and CLP knocked on our doors as soon as the UOL Result-Bomb landed during our "wake me up when September comes" chorus.

I am glad to be at the start of this challenging journey.
Unafraid of what lies ahead, marching on with lots of determination, discipline and 'durability' is the way to go.

To all my fellow compatriots who have successfully graduated and entered the same 'war zone', congratulations and all the best!

Entry requirements

The entry requirements for the BVC is a qualifying law degree with no less than lower second class (2:2) honours, or a degree in another subject with no less than 2:2 honours in addition to a pass in the Graduate Diploma in Law or Common Professional Examination (CPE) (also known as a law conversion course).

Candidates for the BVC should demonstrate strong academic qualifications (preferably Upper Second Class Honours degree and above from a leading university or excellent extra-curricular activities). A suitable candidate should provide strong evidence of a commitment to the Bar.

On the evidence of recent years approximately:

2,900 students apply to the BVC, 1,700 get a BVC place, 1,250 pass the BVC, 560 get pupillage, 500 get tenancy (i.e. become a self-employed barrister)

As a result, the BVC is often criticised as less than one in three who successfully complete the BVC will practise as a barrister.

Course options

The course bridges the gap between academic study and the practical work of a barrister by teaching subjects with which a pupil barrister will need to be familiar. Core modules include: Criminal Advocacy, Civil Advocacy, Drafting, Opinion Writing, Client Conferencing, Negotiation, Criminal Litigation and Setencing, Civil Litigation, Evidence, Practical Legal Research, Case Preparation and Analysis, Professional Conduct and Ethics and two Optional modules (these vary from institute to institute).

The World Needs People and People Need Heart and People With Heart...

yea....If you know what I mean...

after being part of the charity organization for months and having done the societal welfare work,I think I know who I want to be.

I'm not just going to sit there and waste the taxpayers' money,together with the people who share the same vision and heart, I want to reduce poverty and provide for the underprivileged students.
There are groups of minority out there, who have more to offer the world but simply limited by means.

I despise selfish agendas and corrupted motives.

The end to political turmoils.

People have to wake up and realize not how much but how little they can do to bring about constructive change to the country and its people.

You just need to carry your heart with you.

That extra warmth you cater will make this world a bearable place.

I hope I am not alone....I don't know how far can I go, but I will stop at nothing to serve the needy and learn to be someone who is Bold,Courageous and Effective in doing so.

i love my country......
i am proud of my country...

i feel sad for people who do not appreciate the beauty of being a Malaysian and how blessed we are to be born and to live in this beautiful country.

and i feel sorry for those who simply have no clue about the actual difference between a country(negara) and a government(kerajaan).
when one is expressing his hatred or dissatisfaction towards a ministry or an authority,he is criticizing the government.which should be understood as the administrating 'body',this alone can never be a 'country'.

but when one is foolish enough to turn his national anthem into something else,he is humiliating himself and is being disgraceful to his country. i am referring to that person whose crooked version of our national anthem opened up fierce waves of heated arguments and discussions. clearly,he simply does not know what he is singing about. he has no respect for his fellow countrymen and he has taken away his own pride of being a Malaysian.and there he dared to say that he did it out of love for his country. that is by far,the most ridiculous and 'incredible' vindication. (sorry,i think you failed to fool us, boy.and your songs are not funny at all.)

to me,he is worse than the bus driver whose reckless driving took away 20 lives.

he is nothing less than a 'terrorist' who attempts to damage the unity that we have been growing in for more than half a decade. he is a fool. those who cheer for him are even more foolish and ignorant.especially those who seized the opportunity to do 'free political campaigning'. you guys have no idea as to what you are talking about!
