High Flight - an Airman's Ecstacy

Came across this beautifully written sonnet by

an Anglo-American aviator and poet who died as a result of a mid-air collision over Lincolnshire during World War II.

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings.
Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew.
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Woman In Love~

To really love a woman, to understand her
You gotta know her deep inside
Hear every thought, see every dream
An' give her wings when she wants to fly
Then when you find yourself lyin' helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
You tell her, that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
'Cuz she needs somebody
To tell her that it's gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?
Yeah

To really love a woman, let her hold you
Til' you know how she needs to be touched
You've gotta breathe her, really taste her
Til' you can feel her in your blood
An' when you can see your unborn children in her eyes
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
You tell her that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
'Cuz she needs somebody
To tell her that you'll always be together
So tell me have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?

Oh
You've got to give her some faith, hold her tight
A little tenderness, you gotta treat her right
She will be there for you, takin' good care of you
You really gotta love your woman, ya

And when you find yourself lyin' helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
You tell her that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
'Cuz she needs somebody
To tell her that it's gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?
Yeah

Just tell me have you ever really
Really, really, ever loved a woman?
Oh
Just tell me have you ever really
Really, really, ever loved a woman?

Drawing Some Loving Energy from what they said...

At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet. - Plato-

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. -Lao Tzu-

First love is only a little foolishness and a lot of curiosity. -George Bernard Shaw-

We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love. -Tom Robbins-

It comes in a package!

Sheryl said that to her, relationship is like cigarettes. It's bad for health but you smoke anyway because it gives you pleasure sometimes.

I said: What? Sometimes only???? And you risk your health for the pleasure sometimes??? So not worth it lah woman!

Why can't it be like Running in the park? It's good for health and it's enjoyable!
It's addictive too! But it keeps you healthy!
