Yes yes, I'm talking about the Hallmark effect of the Hallmark Channel.
Just in case you are reading this and you don't already know, I am a 'tearbag'. Yes, the tears, they come every time Simba comes running to Mustafa's fall, every time Lilo parts with Stitch, whenever Giselle lea ves Robert for Edward to Endalasia....you know....the story of Life & Love, I don't know how to describe it...just whenever the scene gives me more than goosebumps, the feeling of love, or , or simply Christmas joy~So I say, watch Hallmark when you lost touch of your sensitive side. Hallmark ~ dreams docome true.
Great~! (I finally have a brief moment to publish this post.)
Thanks to my ever so helpful & kind friend --Mr.Chew Lup Wai, a current 2nd Year Engineering student in NUS, I had the opportunity to tour the beautiful campus.
Here are some shots from the supposedly 20minutes bus ride in the campus!
Tears rolled down my cheeks when the Finishing Line crossed me. I mean when I...when I...ME!!!...finally crossed the Finishing Line.
For a Newbie like me....
It was such great experience..to be able to run on the hassle-free Penang Bridge! to have fresh clean morning sea breeze gently wiping my sweat! to run in the dark (it was 5am when my run started)...and see the 1st ray of sun light on that wonderful morning~~shining on my path to the finishing line!!
All I wanted was to complete the race..time was not a factor. But to have completed my maiden 25km at the speed of average 9mins/km is not so bad after all. A positive starting note for me. =)
My first 25km~~of sweat and blood and tears.... Now that I've proven to myself that I can do it...I'm more confident for the runs in future.
Next destination on my Running Calendar: Singapore Standard Chartered International Marathon ~~ 7th December 2008~~
In order to understand my Jurisprudence Tutor better, I determinately watched ALL THREE (the 1st 3) episodes of Star Wars in a row.
I didn't need to wait till the end to ask myself : Why did I dislike this Star Wars thing back then? Maybe it appeared silly...must be that stupid Lightsaber. I used to think that was super childish. haha...Honestly, I still think that's funny...it killed Qui-gon Jin alright!
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's lecture. When I can nod in comprehension of what Mr.Arvind says....about Star Wars and how Professor Hart is actually Lord Vader... I wonder who will Dworkin be!
I think. I guess. I really love the Mamma Mia Musical.I went to the Road Shows. Hoping to win the tickets. Although I didn't get any, I had a great deal of fun!!!!It was not a waste of time at all. =) I am sure.
And I'm sure I'll never get bored of it. Just like I'll never get bored of The Sound of Music. Just like the addiction to a nice warm Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice-cream topping. Just like the love for the Ocean and scuba-diving. Just like the bond between me and Rocky Boy. Just like a nice warm Sunbeam. Just like a walk in the Rain. A nice long shower after that.
My favorite scene in Mamma Mia! the movie....was Our Last Summer. I guess that's exactly what and how I'd like to recall my fond memories of youth in years to come. Oh yes! =D
