I was not at all excited about this movie.
I thought it was just another animation adopted from some comic.
Well, I was ignorant and clearly, wrong. =p

The storyline takes us through the adventure of Jake Sully...
In real life, Jake is just a disabled guy. Nobody ever expects him to be capable or anywhere near his able twin. But the 'diplomatic' ploy with the Na'vis opened the door for Jake to become a real warrior, a conqueror, a true hero.

He finds himself valued and appreciated in Pandora.

This movie is more than just Graphics and Animation.
It reminds us of how selfish human beings are.
The wealth we derive at the expense of the riches of nature.

Reminds me of Colours of The Wind--my favorite theme song from Pocahontas. =)

Lonely Christmas?

"Sleighbells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening.
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight.
Walking in a Winter Wonderland."

Feeling a little mixed up....or maybe it's just my temperamental blues...>.<

Hope it's going to be a Merrie Christmas after all. =)

It's December.Recollection of 2009.

I'm feeling soooooooooo Happie! =) right now.

Graduation, Christmas, Weddings...all in the wonderful month of December.

M16,Styr AUG,GPMG*

有人说:“lawyers are bloodsuckers." >.<
我说:“If that is true i don't mind being a hot vampire!" =p

2010年的Resolutions...愿望:

*To be updated soon! =p*

But one of them will surely be the continuous search for someone who shares the same passion in the things I love to do. =) Someone that understands me. =p And be brave enough to explore in this wide, beautiful and amazing world with me! hehe...

What a day! =)

Today - 12th November 2009.

With the sleepy bug bothering me all morning in class, and the mood swing that seemed to be lingering around, I made a decision to not attend the afternoon tutorials!

No, I don't feel guilty for playing truancy. I needed a break. Yes!

So I drove to The Gardens. Parked my car at my favourite spot. Strolled in the mall.
I was thinking of sushi but I ended up walking into Austin Chase. Ordered Turkey Sandwich. Ice Tea. Banana Caramel Smoothie. =p Magazines and a new novel- Natural Born Charmer.... Love my 'me' time!

You see, I've been working very hard. So I thought I really deserved RETAIL THERAPY!!!

So I walked into Mizuno Concept Store on the 3rd floor...and then the 'tap water' started running....and then Nike Shop...then Marks and Spencer. Let's not dwell on the details of purchase. =p

But wow! What a day! =D

I was happy like a kid who got his toy!

Then I came back in time to work out at Taman Bukit Jalil, with my coach.

It was raining cows and elephants!
Everything in the park were spectacular...gosh it was perfect! Though it was chilling cold....

But wow! What a day! =D

All in a day. =p

A storm is brewing for tonight.
And I'm feeling hyper, as usual, after a great workout. =)

Let me tell you, if you're ever interested to know....well, I'm telling you anyway ---
I had a very very very busy day today.

I went to SEVEN Chinese Primary Schools, 1 Temple, 1 Press Conference, ran 4km, did strength training..dan lain-lain. =p

I started with SJK(C) Tai Thung, SJK(C) Confucian, then Salak South, Kwong Hon...
then I rushed back to attend the Installation Ceremony at the 'Ci Ji Gong' Temple.
This was followed by the Press Conference in Old Klang Road.
WithOUT taking a break, I went to Choong Wen where I saw this cute little boy being punished...he had to copy 弟子规. =p There,I met Kai Yun. She was really happy and surprised to see me. =D

Next, I drove in the rain, to Brickfields, where SJK(C) La Salle is located, did my talking and came back to OUG Yoke Nam, my primary school.

Here, I met many ex-teachers..they were not surprised to see me. >.<
Partly due to my frequent visits. =)

Oh ya, the reason for me 'hopping' among the schools --Sunlight Education Financial Aid Fund. It's my yearly ritual, pay the Penolong Kanans a visit after faxing a letter to inform them of the new application process.

Oopsss....sorry, too technical. hehe....but I have so much fun doing it! =) alone.

Letting my better sense prevail

In times like this, there is no better path besides the one that I'm taking.
To stand tall and strong.
Sticking to my decision.
Standing by wisdom.
And lead the train of life through greater adventures, with an open mind.
And a brave heart.

Blogging on my sweet surprise~ iPhone

Thank you Daddy. ; )

just when I needed a phone that allows me to make calls and text without hassle!
And just when I needed to forget about someone who is shameless...
Just when I needed some music to get my head and heart straight...
Just when I needed some sweet pictures to browse through during my free time...
Some love. Some fun. Some style. Some elegance. Some comfort.

Just when I needed you most. =)
Touch my life, iPhone.

What do you do when you know it's not working?

Do you let go?
Move on without a word?
Hold on?
Keep going even though you know you're heading nowhere?

Whatever you do, choose the path which cherishes the most important thing that you have, your happiness. =)

So, when you're at a bottleneck and when you're in doubt, LOVE YOURSELF FIRST.
That's the least that you can do to move on and out from a relationship which undervalues you.

So I quote a wise friend,'Cherish Yourself'.

*peace* =)

CLP

After 3 eventful months. A long wait has ended and CLP knocked on our doors as soon as the UOL Result-Bomb landed during our "wake me up when September comes" chorus.

I am glad to be at the start of this challenging journey.
Unafraid of what lies ahead, marching on with lots of determination, discipline and 'durability' is the way to go.

To all my fellow compatriots who have successfully graduated and entered the same 'war zone', congratulations and all the best!

Taman Negara

It's been 12 years since I last visited Taman Negara.

This year I went there in the company of Jo, Perng Yann and Richelle.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Woodlands Resort. It was not as ideal as Mutiara Taman Negara, but I have no complaints. The chalet was lovely.

The part I enjoyed most was Rapid Shooting.
It was sheer excitement as we rode on the rapid river flow...I still remember how we were splashed wet from head to toe and how the sun shone brightly on our cheeks. =)

The Jungle Walk - not so entertaining as compared to the last trip.
Well, you don't get to see much in the jungle, in terms of wild life, since it's Peak Season and tourists are flocking the park, away from the city.
A few spiders and lizards were the common thing.

We spent our last night having buffet at Mutiara Taman Negara.
The atmosphere was still as serene and elegant as before.
Food wise, not the best if you're expecting 5 stars.

3 days are all too short to experience the beautiful park.

Next trip: Gunung Tahan? =)

My Favourite at Marmalade, Bangsar Village

The Legendary Avocado Accents!

Baby Jess' Belated Birthday Dinner at Daore

As we were too hungry and exhausted to travel to Mont Kiara, we decided to try this out outlet in Bandar Puteri, near Baby Eve's house.

The food was good and we received friendly service from the staff.

I love Rakuzen!

I lost count of the number of visits to Rakuzen.

We usually go to the one in Sunway Pyramid.

We love it here in Plaza Damas too!

The sashimi is always great.

A Recap of the pre-exam 'syndrome'

What would I do without Ms.Samantha Tan and Ms.Sheryl Chung around to 'shine our armours'?

I have to confess that I MISS YOU NYAMUKS! for Bugging my life with your silly jokes!
For dragging out of my comfort zone and pushing me to do more, and more.

Whatever the outcome. I know it was not a waste of time.

We had so much fun together.

Happie that exam's over. But a little 'lost' at the same time, knowing that we have nothing to read for TWELVE to FIFTEEN HOURS a day for FIVE WEEKS! =p

Short-lived Joy. Long Live the THREE MOSQUITOES!!!

My Way~

"..and now, the end is near, and so I face, the FINAL curtain..."

Final Year Revision, Finally~

Lately, in case I have not kept you updated, I've been preparing for my Finals.

Thanks to my beloved Nyamuk Gang...it has been the best, most enjoyable, bearable revision in my entire academic life. *winks*

Tan Sri Nyamuk Besar and Tun Nyamuk Kecil have successfully kept me in check.
Making sure that I don't slack.

Really appreciate the study companionship.

Hahahaha...I have no complaints but one, I just can't stand it when they smoke! =p
But that's fine. Really. I'm Okay.

All the best to the Nyamuks!
WE CAN DO IT!
NO doubt bout that!

High Flight - an Airman's Ecstacy

Came across this beautifully written sonnet by

an Anglo-American aviator and poet who died as a result of a mid-air collision over Lincolnshire during World War II.

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings.
Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew.
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

John Gillespie Magee (1922 - 1941)
